Technical Reacue
Common Vehicle Rescue
This comprehensive course is designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 1006, 2021 Edition, for Vehicle Rescue Technician Level I and II, and is certified through the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas (SFFMA). It prepares emergency responders to perform safe, effective rescue operations involving passenger vehicles, light trucks, and commercial vehicles in both rural and urban settings.
Swift/Surface Water Rescue
This course provides comprehensive training in swift and surface water rescue operations, meeting the requirements of NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications (2021 Edition) and NFPA 1670: Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents. It is certified through the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas (SFFMA).
Rope Rescue
This intensive course prepares emergency responders to conduct safe and effective rope rescue operations in accordance with NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications (2021 Edition) and NFPA 1670: Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents. It is certified through both the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas (SFFMA) and the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP).
